ABOUT BPC

Established in 2022, BPC is a life science company offering a range of experimental and bioinformatics-focused omics services and consulting solutions to support your R&D projects at all stages, from experimental design and sample processing to data analysis, interpretation and reporting. 

 

BPC’s portfolio includes single-cell, spatial and bulk transcriptomics, next-generation sequencing, RNA analysis, (spatial) proteomics, extracellular vesicles and bioinformatics. We are also proud to provide scientific consulting and editing services from a diverse panel of leaders from academia and industry, who cover a range of human disease backgrounds and preclinical models, including large animal models. BPC is headquartered in Houston, Texas with European offices located in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company was founded by Dr. Prabhu Mathiyalagan, having the first employee starting work in December 2022.

Prabhu Mathiyalagan

CEO

Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, Prabhu graduated as a PhD Scientist from Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute (Monash University) in Melbourne and after completing postdoctoral research in the United States, he settled down with his family in Switzerland. Prabhu’s scientific career encompasses over 15 years in various academic and project management R&D roles in prestigious institutions such as Mount Sinai Hospital (USA), New York University (USA), Monash University (Australia) and ground-breaking startup Haya Therapeutics (Switzerland). Prabhu published more than 20 journal articles (including >10 high-impact articles as the lead author with over 3000 research citations), served as an editor and guest editor for various journals, including American Heart Association, Frontiers and MDPI publishers.
